MANNA: Making precision feel real

The brief

MANNA makes orthodontic retainers overnight.

The film had to make that promise visible in 25 seconds. Not as a lab tour. Not as a machine demonstration. As a feeling of precision you could trust.

Fifteen shots. Two title frames. Every machine had to be the right machine.

The constraint

We sourced the original model numbers, found manufacturer references, and rebuilt each shot around the actual equipment. Every frame went through multiple revisions. AI created the starting point. Editing, compositing, brand overlays, motion, and grade made it specific.

The decision

The audience did not need to know how the image was made. They needed to believe the machine was real.

Questions

How do you make AI-generated machinery feel real?

You start with the real machine.

For MANNA, we sourced the original model numbers and used manufacturer references for every major piece of equipment. The generated frames were then refined through several layers of editing and post-production until the machines, materials, lighting, and brand details held together.

The audience did not need to know how the image was made. They needed to believe the machine was real.
